Bearing Fruit in Old Age
Debi and I rented the movie Cinderella Man last night, and it was great. I'd give it a strong recommendation, even if you don't like boxing movies.
Read this morning: Psalm 92:12-15
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, "The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."
Not that I actually am old, but I do sometimes (a lot of times really) feel ineffective and out of touch in college ministry. God help me to stay fresh and green!
